TeleChoice Premier League side Bonnyrigg White Eagles have snapped up former J-League defender Kojiro Kaimoto till the rest of the season.

The 31-year-old quick-fire defender has been training with Brian Brown’s side for the past few weeks and has impressed the Scotsman with his speed, skill and stamina which is sure to be an asset for the club’s push for a hopeful top five finish this season.

Kaimoto boosts an impressive resume having played for the likes of J-League clubs Gamba Osaka, Nagoya Grampus, Albirex Niigata, Tokyo Verdy and Korean top flight side Songnam Ilhwa.

The Japanese player makes his debut in the White Eagles’ round 18 clash against Bankstown City Lions at Bonnyrigg Sports Centre this Saturday evening.
